Value-based decisions (how): Inner Development supports resilient leadership and values-based decision making that is needed to achieve the SDGs.
New Higher Education Approach (what): Integrating inner development into university curriculums equips students with a lifelong habit of inner development to drive positive change.
The Coalition is a collaborative effort from pioneering universities who are embedding student inner development in their education programs. Its mission is to co-create and implement scalable, science-based solutions for student inner development embedded in the curricula. It does so through six distinct activities:
Develop inner-curricular solutions that are scalable and affordable.
Support the tedious yet necessary curriculum reform processes.
Open-source approaches and execute impact case studies.
Facilitate sharing and networking.
Advocate for a new standard of higher education.
Get our members recognized for their pioneering role.
Community Champions
A larger community of changemakers from different learning institutions who will give
regular input to the co-founders during the process, and have the opportunity to become
Founding Members when the Coalition is formally founded.
Co-founding Universities
A small group of 7 pioneering universities who invest their own resources to drive the
co-creation of the Coalition in a six month process. The Coalition will be formally
founded and start operations after this process.
Early 2024
The Coalition is co-initiated by IDG Foundation and Rflect.
Fall 2024
7 pioneering universities are starting the co-founding process of the Coalition. The
Community Champions support this process.
Mid 2025
Co-founding process concludes, and Coalition will be formally founded. Next to the
Co-founders, the Community Champions have the opportunity to join as Founding Members.
Beyond Mid 2025
The Coalition will start operating to bring a lifelong habit of inner development to
students. There will be a few opportunities per year for new members to join.
Before its launch, the Coalition is forming a Champions Community of changemakers from different higher education institutions. The first learning calls will take place on December 18 and 19.
