Universities have a vital role to play in preparing ethical, resilient future leaders who are committed to the wellbeing of both people and the planet.
The Opportunity
Investing in students’ inner development at a time when their character is being formed and their worldviews are actively taking shape helps students build psychological resilience, choose purpose and agency over ego and apathy, and develop the creative capacity and collaborative mindset needed to forge meaningful careers that contribute to the greater good.
What It Does
The University Coalition for Student Inner Development works towards a world where every student graduates with a lifelong habit of inner development so they can contribute to societal change. The University Coalition is a collaborative effort among pioneering institutions that commit to integrating inner development into our curricula and extracurricular programs and sharing what we learn with peer institutions who are members of the coalition.

Not there institutionally yet? If you’re an early adopter experimenting with inner development practices in your research, teaching, career services or other student offerings and are inspired to join the higher education community committed to take this further, the individual membership is perfect for you.
